Letras Hispanas: Revista de Literatura y Cultura is a peer-reviewed, open-access online journal dedicated to publishing scholarly essays that engage topics in connection with Spanish, Latin American, and US Latino literatures and cultures.
Letras Hispanas is looking for contributions year-round for its forthcoming issues, and welcomes submissions in English or Spanish from experienced, independent, or young scholars. It is an annual publication and is listed and indexed in the MLA International Bibliography.
Letras Hispanas was originally founded in 2004 by Nuria Morgado and Julie Lirot and was hosted at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. In the Fall of 2011 the journal moved to Texas State University-San Marcos and began its publication in the Spring of 2012.
