Record attendance at this Fall's Do Deutsch Day!

A record number of German students - 30% of our total enrollment in lower- and upper-division classes combined! - attended Do Deutsch Day on November 6. The students enjoyed a German version of Jeopardy!, as well as pizza, and pudding eaten with a fork ("Pudding mit Gabel"). Our student ambassadors gave riveting accounts of their experiences in classes such as German on Stage and Weimar Cinema, as well as on study abroad programs in Vienna and Munich. We also inducted our newest Delta Phi Alpha members and honored Memphis Mallory, the outgoing DPA president, with the Epsilon Lambda Service Award. Nora Coleman received the prize for the best T-shirt design. It was a fantastic turnout and an amazing event!
